First Post!

   Hello my drinking friends!
 
   This is my first post ever! What took me so long? Well, I was studying up for the blog, of course!

  Perhaps a little of my background is in order.

   I am about to turn forty one, having been in the restaurant business for 18 years, and managing liquor stores for 7 years. I have a Culinary Arts degree from the Philadelphia Restaurant School, I am a Level 3 Sommelier from the Master Court, am a Professional Beer Server thru Cicerone.org, and I am studying for my Certified Specialist of Spirits certification.

   With that said, I like to drink and eat.

What will this blog be about? I will have reviews of wine, spirits, and beer. Recipes and pairings. Info on developing stories and trends in the industry. As well as reviews on local restaurants and bars. Whew, I gotta start drinking and eating, I mean working! See you soon!
